Welcome to the world of the Piano Goddess.
I'm a NYC-based pianist, composer, songwriter and vocalist. I wanted to start a community where women interested in furthering their spiritual relationship with the beautiful instrument of the piano could come together. In my travels I've noticed that many women I come in contact with want to develop a stronger relationship with the piano but are held back by years of fear, negative experiences or uncertainty.
Whether you've always wanted to play or write music and never have, or you're a professional seeking additional solace at the piano, this is intended as a safe place of exploration. I am blessed with many opportunities to evolve my skills of songwriting, improvisation, performance and sightreading and seek to help other interested women with an open spirit. My hope is that we will all come away from the journey with new songs to share, new techniques for playing, and most of all, a sense of fun that will carry us throughout our lifelong musical paths.
I welcome all comments, would love to hear who YOU think are piano gods and goddesses, and would enjoy hearing about your own experiences with the piano.
